Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to paid access purchased on JSON to Excel at www.jsontoexcel.in (the "Service"). By completing a purchase, you agree to this Policy in addition to any terms displayed at checkout. This Policy does not limit your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in India.
1. Nature of the product
The Service provides a digital, browser-based JSON-to-Excel conversion tool. Paid access unlocks enhanced limits for your browser session for a fixed period. The product is intangible software access delivered electronically immediately after successful payment confirmation.
2. Pricing and billing
Current paid access is offered at ₹49 (Indian Rupees forty-nine) for seven (7) calendar days of unlimited conversions within the limits shown on the Service at the time of purchase. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. All payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full card or UPI credentials.
3. Delivery and activation
Upon successful payment, paid access is applied to your current browser session automatically. There is no physical shipment. If access does not activate within a reasonable time, contact support before initiating a chargeback.
4. Refund eligibility
Because the Service is a digital product with immediate delivery, refunds are generally not provided once paid access has been successfully activated and used. We may, at our sole discretion, approve a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:
- Failed activation: Payment was captured but paid access did not unlock in your session, and the issue is verified on our side;
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a technical error;
- Extended outage: A verified, prolonged Service outage immediately following your purchase prevented any meaningful use during the access period;
- Unauthorized transaction: You report an unauthorized charge with sufficient detail for investigation (subject to verification and cooperation with Razorpay or your bank).
5. Non-refundable situations
Refunds are ordinarily not granted when:
- Paid access was activated and you successfully converted one or more files during the access period;
- The JSON file was invalid, empty, or incompatible with the Service (you may use the free trial to test before paying);
- You expected features, formats, or outputs not described on the Service at the time of purchase;
- You changed your mind after purchase without a qualifying reason in Section 4;
- Access expired because the seven-day period ended or you cleared browser data that reset your session;
- Issues caused by your device, browser, network, or third-party software outside our reasonable control.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@jsontoexcel.in within seven (7) days of the original transaction with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Razorpay Payment ID (format: pay_…);
- Date and amount of the transaction;
- Email or phone used at checkout, if applicable;
- A clear description of the issue and screenshots if relevant.
Incomplete requests may delay processing. We will acknowledge receipt and respond within two (2) business days where possible.
7. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing typically takes five (5) to ten (10) business days after approval, depending on your bank, card issuer, or UPI provider. We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions once a refund has been initiated.
8. Cancellations
Paid access is a one-time purchase for a fixed term, not a recurring subscription. There is nothing to cancel for future billing. If you do not wish to continue using the Service after your access period ends, simply do not make another purchase.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank or Razorpay without contacting us first, we may submit payment and usage records to the payment processor to resolve the claim. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in denial of future access to the Service.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction unless otherwise required by law. Updated versions are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
11. Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from this Policy, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your location.
